"Out on a Limb"

A pencil drawing of an African leopard (Panthera pardus).
This female leopard lived in a private reserve bordering the Kruger National Park in South Africa. Having been born and grown up in a tourist park, she was completely relaxed around vehicles and became well known to regular visitors and the guides working in the reserve. She favoured large tree branches where she was often to be found relaxing in the heat of the afternoon.
