A pencil drawing of a Southern giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis). Of the several different giraffe species in Africa, the Southern is perhaps the most plentiful and in the Okavango Delta of Botswana, they are abundant. Habituated to tourist vehicles, this bull was happy to pose for us apparently aware of his photogenic good looks.
